Software Product Description
Your computer may accumulate empty folders over time for a variety of reasons. May be you have been deleting files without removing folders or uninstalling applications that leave residual folders behind. Whatever leads to such empty folders, they consume precious memory and clutter your system unnecessarily; hence it is important to remove them. However, searching for and removing empty folders manually is not as easy as it sounds. Thankfully, Mwisoft D simplifies the task for you.
The free tool is designed to remove empty folders in batches, enabling it to complete the task quickly. You only need to specify the path where you want the intuitive application to search. It searches for and lists all empty directories it finds so you can decide which ones you want to delete.
The application features a small user interface with a box where you specify the path to search. You do not have to type manually, as there is a “Browse” button that allows you to use Windows Explorer to locate the required path. There is nothing for you to configure for the free folder remover to work.
Clicking the “More” button displays the list of empty folders found, each with a check box next to it. It lists the total number of folders on the lower left part of its interface. To remove the selected folders, just click the “Delete” button.
While Mwisoft D makes it easy and even enjoyable to get rid of empty folders, do not remove all of them without checking. Some programs run correctly when they have empty folders, so you should know which ones to delete.
Please note that the program does not detect empty folders within sub-folders. It will only search the destination you have specified.
Mwisoft D runs on both 64-bit and 32-bit editions of Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista and XP.
